254 stainless steel bar
Alloy 254 - Langley Alloys LtdAlloy 254, is a high alloy austenitic stainless steel which is supplied in the hot worked and annealed condition. Significant additions of Mo, Ni and Cu gives this alloy a good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in environments containing halide ions e.g. chloride, bromide and fluoride solutions.
Alloy 254 Bar is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel with good general corrosion resistance. It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800 1500°F (427 816°C). 254 SMO ® Super Austenitic Stainless Steel Bar254 SMO ® Super Austenitic Stainless Steel Bar UNS S31254. 254 SMO ® stainless steel bar, also known as UNS S31254, was originally developed for use in seawater and other aggressive chloride-bearing environments. This grade is considered a very high end austenitic stainless steel; mainly comprised of between 19.5% and 20.5% chromium, 17.5% to 18.5% nickel, 6% to 6.5% molybdenum
